Prefeitura de Barbacena e EPCAR fecham parceria do programa PROFESP
O PROFESP atende mais de 170 crianças
Na manhã desta segunda-feira (14/03), a Prefeitura de Barbacena e a Escola Preparatória de Cadetes do Ar (EPCAR) realizaram a celebração do novo Acordo de Cooperação Técnica do Programa Forças no Esporte no âmbito da Força Aérea Brasileira e da EPCAR (PROFESP – EPCAR). A ação aconteceu na sede da EPCAR e contou com a participação de integrantes do poder público e das escolas.
Através do PROFESP, estudantes da rede pública municipal de ensino de Barbacena, participam de atividades promovidas pela EPCAR como: esportes, formação de valores, eventos culturais, feira de ciências, visitas culturais e de formação, informática, horta comunitária, música e coral, entre outras. Além disso, o programa também oferece assistência básica de saúde.
O PROFESP, que atende mais de 170 crianças das escolas municipais Alberto Correa e Tony Marcos de Andrade, teve as atividades presenciais suspensas em 2020 e 2021 devido a pandemia, mas manteve a distribuição mensal de kits de alimentação.
O Acordo de Cooperação Técnica apresenta as obrigações da EPCAR e da Prefeitura, que participa do projeto através da Secretaria Municipal de Assistência Social (SEMAS) e Secretaria Municipal de Educação Desportos e Cultura (SEDEC).
