Cidades da região, como Alfredo Vasconcelos, Alto Rio Doce, Carandaí e Santa Bárbara do Tugúrio foram contempladas
As prefeituras de todos os 470 municípios mineiros elegíveis a participar do Digitaliza Brasil, de acordo com as normas do Ministério das Comunicações, já aderiram ao programa. A proposta da iniciativa é democratizar o acesso e levar sinal digital de televisão a cidades que contavam apenas com transmissão analógica. O protocolo que formalizou a parceria entre a Empresa Mineira de Comunicação (EMC) e a Empresa Brasil de Comunicação (EBC), responsável pela execução, foi assinado no dia 19/10.
Minas Gerais se encontra na lista de estados que vão ser contemplados na primeira fase do Digitaliza Brasil, abrangendo 28,7% do total de municípios que serão atendidos no país. Com isso, a execução do programa no estado vai mobilizar recursos de cerca de R$ 200 milhões.
Democratização do acesso
A execução do projeto vai permitir a difusão de qualidade da TV aberta. Sendo assim, o sinal da Rede Minas será ampliado, possibilitando aos mineiros acompanhar sua programação educativa, cultural, de informação e entretenimento. Atualmente, a emissora pública mineiro atende também aos estudantes da rede estadual de ensino nas teleaulas.
Próximos passos
O Grupo de Implantação do Processo de Redistribuição e Digitalização de Canais de TV e RTV (Gired) vai homologar a adesão das prefeituras em breve. As obras para instalação dos transmissores começam em 2022. Ainda no próximo ano, os equipamentos estarão prontos para levar o sinal digital de TV para os municípios contemplados no programa.
A iniciativa ainda vai oferecer conversores de televisão com interatividade e desempenho otimizado para as famílias integrantes do Cadastro Único (CadÚnico), inclusive as beneficiárias do programa Bolsa Família, que atendem aos critérios estabelecidos no Decreto nº 6.135, de 2007.
