Escolas estaduais mineiras poderão realizar eleições para escolha de representantes de turma e conselho retomará suas atividades
O processo de escolha dos representantes estudantis que irão integrar o conselho, que estava suspenso há dois anos por causa da pandemia, poderá ser feito de 14 a 21 de março
Após dois anos suspenso em função da pandemia da Covid-19, o Conselho de Representantes de Turma da Rede Estadual de Ensino, que tem o objetivo de fortalecer a participação dos estudantes na comunidade escolar, retomará suas atividades. Para isso, a Secretaria de Estado de Educação de Minas Gerais (SEE/MG) orientou as unidades escolares a realizarem, entre os dias 14 a 21 de março, as eleições dos novos representantes de turmas escolares que irão integrar o conselho.
O processo de escolha dos representantes contempla todas as turmas de ensino médio da rede estadual e, neste ano, a novidade é a possibilidade de realização da eleição também para as turmas dos anos finais do ensino fundamental. Todos os alunos poderão se candidatar e participarão de uma votação organizada na escola. Os estudantes eleitos serão responsáveis por representar a sala em que estuda e também farão parte do Conselho de Representantes de Turmas. Juntamente com a direção escolar, os alunos criarão um plano de ação para discutir e elaborar atividades em torno de uma situação ou problema identificado pelos próprios estudantes.
Para que esse processo ocorra da melhor maneira, as escolas deverão desenvolver ações para conscientização e mobilização dos alunos sobre a importância da escolha dos representantes de turma. Além disso, deverão criar uma Comissão Eleitoral, que será responsável por organizar e acompanhar o processo de eleição na unidade de ensino.
Para a coordenadora de Temáticas Especiais e Transversalidades Curriculares da SEE/MG, Fabiana Benchetrit, a ideia por trás da formação de um Conselho de Representantes de Turma é que haja uma representação maior dos estudantes dentro das escolas. “O objetivo é promover a participação e estimular os alunos nas escolas. As ações podem acontecer também fora do ambiente escolar, extrapolando o espaço físico, voltadas para a comunidade no entorno”, explica.
Com o retorno dos conselhos de representantes de turmas, a expectativa é que as escolas que realizaram o plano de ação em anos anteriores tenham a oportunidade de implementar as melhorias propostas ou traçar novas estratégias para a solução dos problemas.
Na última eleição realizada antes da pandemia, em 2019, foram eleitos 79.801 representantes de turma em 3.050 escolas públicas estaduais. Fabiana destaca que, antes da suspensão do programa, houve uma grande adesão dos representantes de turmas nas escolas da rede, inclusive em comunidades indígenas. “Dez escolas indígenas das regionais de Guanhães, Januária e Pará de Minas elaboraram seus Planos de Ação, representando um grande avanço na política de juventude da rede”, contou.
