Energia: consumidores com Tarifa Social terão bandeira verde em março
O desconto varia entre 10% e 65% até o limite de consumo de 220 kWh
A Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica (Aneel) anunciou que consumidores que recebem o benefício da Tarifa Social de Energia terão bandeira verde em março, ou seja, mais de 24 milhões de famílias não terão aumento na conta de luz.
A Tarifa Social de Energia Elétrica é um desconto da conta de luz dado às famílias de baixa renda inscritas no Cadastro Único ou que tenham entre seus membros alguém que seja beneficiário do Benefício de Prestação Continuada (BPC).
O desconto varia entre 10% e 65% até o limite de consumo de 220 kWh. Confira os descontos são dados por faixa de consumo:
- Até 30 kWh – 65% de desconto;
- De 31 kWh – 40% de desconto;
- De 101 kWh e 220 kWh – 10% de desconto.
Quando cobrados, os adicionais de bandeiras tarifárias na conta de luz dos consumidores possuem direito à Tarifa Social de Energia Elétrica seguem os mesmos percentuais de descontos que são estabelecidos por faixa de consumo.
Para acessar a Tarifa Social, um dos integrantes da família deve comparecer à distribuidora de energia elétrica que atende sua residência e apresentar a documentação que comprove as exigências para obter os descontos.
Os demais usuários vão continuar pagando a Bandeira de Escassez Hídrica, no valor de R$14,20 a cada 100 kWh consumidos. Segundo o governo, o valor foi necessário para cobrir custos de energia, que ficaram mais caros por conta de um período de escassez hídrica enfrentado no país em 2021. A Bandeira Escassez Hídrica segue em vigor até abril de 2022.
O sistema de bandeiras foi criado para sinalizar o custo real da energia gerada. O funcionamento é dividido por cores – verde, amarela ou vermelha (nos patamares 1 e 2). Se a energia está na bandeira vermelha, por exemplo, estará custando mais caro.
